3.10 Moving up the Stake Levels
Congratulations on reaching this part of the course. So far you have learnt a solid basic strategy and built upon that to understand the thought process you should be going through when making each and every poker decision.
You should also now have turned your initial $25 stake into over $50, which is great and has allowed you to put in to practice your new strategy. Now that you are comfortable using your strategy we are going to step up your poker bankroll from the low stakes to the next level and start to really rocket your bankroll towards the $1,000 target we have set ourselves.
Up until now we have been playing on quite low stakes tables at 5cents/10cents. During the next stage of the course we are going to continue to move onto higher stakes tables, but don’t be intimidated, we’ll move up in stages and build your bankroll as we go, you have a very powerful strategy and as long as you stick to what you have learnt in this course, you will be just fine.
We are now going to move away from Ladbrokes Poker – this fish filled site is great for the early part of this course and the low stakes tables, but now were moving onto the higher stakes tables we need to move to a site which has a better balance of fish and slightly better players who will appreciate the more advanced strategies we have incorporated into our strategy. You still have your Ladbrokes Poker account to go back to at a later stage if you wish.
Once again, we have carried out an extensive program of testing of 20 of the most popular internet poker sites using the strategies this course is teaching and playing at the stake levels that we will be using in this next section of the course.
For this stage we are going to use Mansion Poker. This is a great site for the stake levels we are going to be playing at in this next stage of the course In our testing Mansion Poker came out 32% more profitable than other similar sites at these stake levels.
