It was Joe Holmes who was the first to be eliminated, when his stack was going in the wrong direction for most of the first stage of the final table and was eventually eliminated after 20 or so hands. He made a move with J-10 and was called by Dustin Dirksen’s pocket 7’s which held up to knock Holmes out in 9th place and send him home with $36,751.
Darren Glenn was next to leave when he moved all in on pocket 4’s only to be met with Nam Le’s pocket Aces. No help came and Glenn left in 8th place winning $46,806.

Nam Le suffered after a busted straight draw left him behind to Dirksen’s pocket 10’s and Le was eliminated in 3rd place taking home a considerable consolation prize of $239,230.
Down to heads up play and the chip counts were
