The two chip leaders going into the final table was new Team Pokerstars member Daniel Negreanu and Lisandro and both these were considered favourites at this final table.

In fact Negreanu was involved in the action straight away first taking a 60k pot from Lisandro and then eliminating Farshad Cohen when he completed his straight on the river. Cohen left in 8th place taking home $8,916.

Straight away after this it was the other short stack David Brody who was eliminated this time by Greg Pappas who once again completed a straight on the river to eliminate Brody in 7th place good for $12,405.

Crowd favourite Daniel Negreanu was the next to depart after a bad turn of cards dwindled away at his stack. His jacks didn’t hold up when Severin Walser made trip 2’s and Negreanu collected $21,321 for his 5th place finish.

We then had two eliminations in the space of two hands, first when Walser ran into the full house of Nick Frangos to leave in 4th place ($28,105) and then Frangos picked up two pair to eliminate Nesbitt Coburn in 3rd place ($42,643).

Heads up between Frangos and Jeff Lisandro with both players being very aggressive. The final hand came about when Frangos’ Jacks were beaten by the trip aces of Lissandro giving him the bracelet and the 1st place prize of $118,426.
