WSOP Event #42 - $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo

Event #42 broke all records for a Pot Limit Omaha tournament with the largest field ever recorded in this type of tournament.

WSOP Event #40 - $1,500 Mixed Limit Holdem

After a very successful tournament in this format for Event #1 of the 2007 World Series of Poker we returned to the same Mixed Limit format for Event #40. Mixed limit gives players a rotation of both No Limit and Limit Holdem throughout the tournament.

WSOP Event #38 - $1,500 No Limit Holdem

Another big field in Event #38 the $1,500 NLHE tournament. Players had to be turned away as a capacity field of 2,778 took part.

A relatively small field compared to others in this years WSOP took part in this event with just 296 entrants. This is yet another indication of the decline in the popularity of limit Holdem in the poker world.

WSOP Event #32 - $2,000 Seven Card Stud - Lisandro and Negreanu battle it out
