First player qualifies for Poker Pro For a Year Final

Throughout 2007 there will be 6 series of tournaments which all participants can play in. The first series has just finished and player “BG00D2me” from Germany has just booked himself a place at the Poker Pro For A Year final where he will have the chance to win a package which includes entry, travel and accommodation into four major land based poker tournaments in 2008.
The great thing about this promotion is that it has been setup so that everybody has a chance to still take part, no matter how late you join in the fun. The promotion is split into six series which will each take place over 8 weeks.
Each series includes seven low buy-in tournaments, one $500 freeroll and one special freeroll which gives away an all-expenses paid package to play in a major live tournament such as the WSOP, WPT, EPT or Aussie Millions.
For each event you play in you will be awarded points for the place you finish and the winner of each 8 week series books their place in the Poker Pro for a Year final which will be a 10 player tournament to take place at a secret exotic location later in the year. These final 10 players will battle it out for the star prize of being a Poker Pro during 2008.
So far in series one this has offered great value to it’s participants with only 42 players taking part in the series one special freeroll which was to win a $8,500 seat in the EPT tournament at Dortmond! “Kassike” came out on top of those 42 players and will now take his seat in Dortmond next week to compete for a huge prize pool.
The series 2 special freeroll is worth even more with a $15,000 package to the World Poker Tour tournament in Paris up for grabs.
