The rise of women poker players in the men dominated poker world is indeed a force to reckon with. The game of poker has spread over different regions of the world like Asia, Europe, and Russia and in all these areas poker is becoming popular with not just men but also to women.
The female poker market is growing hugely in America and so too in Europe. The prospects for the female poker market are huge and organizers are cashing in on this latest trend in the poker industry by organizing specialist women’s poker events.
Women now have the opportunity to take part in events such as the Women’s European Poker Tour organized and sponsored by Betfred. The Women’s European Poker Tour is a great opportunity for women to enhance their poker skills and win cash.
The Betfred Women’s European Poker Tour has a mix of online qualifiers and direct entrants who enter in the different poker events which take place across various venues in the United Kingdom. For each event points are awarded according to finishing position and cash is added into the final prize pool.
The top points earners go on to compete for the grand prize and title in the final event which is held at the end of the year. The final is also aired live on television granting a share of the limelight to women’s poker.
The final of this years tour will be held on December 8 at the Broadway Casino in Birmingham.
