Hi,
I intalled last week the poker software holdem genius on my computer. But I'm not convinced of this software. The advices are not always correct. Mybe someone knows another poker software? Or generally queston. Does it make sense to use any poker software for playing or it is better to learn playing by oneself? thanks |

I personally use Poker Office which is a great peice of software.
In terms of software that gives you advice on how to act - then no - I don't think I would recommend that - poker is too much of a situational game for that. But the main use of poker software is to keep track of your opponents play by tracking their statistics so it can assist you in seeing which players are loose / tight, agressive, passive, always bet at a certain point etc etc. The other use for poker software is to help you with the poker maths side of things.

Regards to Poker Office, the program itself is $79. In your opinion, is it worth that much for someone like me that just started playing and don't know much about the game yet?
