Hey all! Still new here...lol.
I just feel the need to voice my opinion on something: The politics of poker and how it will better or ruin all of our poker careers...
Now that the Repubs are out and our Democrat is in....we have better chance to have our voices heard. We just have to make the noise. It is a perfect time for us to ALL contact our congressman (in my case there are 3 in Florida...)...I contact mine every Friday. Also, if you are the type with a HUGE love of the game and ALOT of spare time...go to the Poker Players Alliances' site, and see if they need a volunteer in your area. Between helping where we can, and keeping the issue pressed...we have a chance at getting it our way. Do what you can for what you love. That's all! Thanks for listening to me rant and rave about it...but the politicians have too much power...they are supposed to represent our voice, but to their defense...if we don't voice it, then neither can they.
