Never played at UB. Graphics are pretty dull looking. Not sure about the play. Did you have a bad experience?

I have played on UB, seems to me the play is really aggressive. Everyone wants to be PHILL. The ring games have really experieced player whom will enter a table with .10 cents and wait till they get premium hands, hit the main pot to dissapear with their .54 cents, to be back l8ter to do it again. If u pay attn u will see tham sittin at two or three tables doin the same thing.

If competition is what ur lookin for the tourneys is where its at. They to me have a good tourney shcedule with sattelites that are as littlte as .05cents so if u play well using the professors stragtegy, (just remeber poker is situational), u can find fourself in a 10k / 5k gtd for .05 / .10. / .20 cents not the real buyin of 1 or 2 dollars.

That works for me my thing is really tourneys not cash games however in order to get better a tourneys u need experience. That will only come from ring games. Ive noticed since i started playin on this site when i go to other sites i find the gams to be soft and my over confidence leaves me on the rail. Dont get to cocky u will hurt urself, ,use pot control , and ur potodds to play respectivelty.

The interface @ UB is similar to the interface on World Poker Tour .com the play and the draws popout different though. UB to me is a good site for tourney competition. Their sit n goes are the cats meow. thx to the professor im mostly always in the money top 3 when i buy in a sitn go the largest buyin for me at the sng is 2 bucks i wont go any higher for now. 2 gets u 10 if u win.

They even have .50cents sngs 10 man, 20 man, 30 man, 50man,
and 100man. So in conclusion if u want competion to challenge ur game UB is the place to be. U wanna win profitably follow the Prof. hey gl. hope i helped u out a little.

Sorry for the delayed response on this one.

Ultimate Bet are not a site that we would recommend on Poker Professor. We are not saying people shouldn't choose to play there, but it is not a site that we would actively recommend to people.

I'm sure alot of you would already know the reasons for this, as recently Ultimate Bet discovered that there were some members of the upper management cheating on their software - they were using a bug in the software to gain an advantage. The bug has now been sorted by Ultimate Bet, and chances are it won't happen again, but at Poker Professor we pride ourselves on only recommending safe and reliable places to play at, and at the moment Ultimate Bet haven't earnt that trust back yet.
