I loved Rounders. It's funny because my husband looks just like Edward Norton. Rounders was the first movie date my husband and I went on. Edward Norton is in Rouders.

I don't think I'd call The Sting a poker movie. The poker scene was a small part of the con against Lonnegan.

I know I might be admitting my age here but the only poker movie I can remember is the Gambler with Kenny Rogers. I haven't seen the other movies listed here but I think I might have to check out the Rounders.

Kenny Rogers as The Gambler was a 1980 made for TV movie. I didn't see it, but the song was really good. I've tried to watch Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels because I like Jason Statham, but I couldn't get into it.

I haven't watched too many poker movies myself. I do remember the song from the Gambler. "You got to know when to hold em, know when to fold em. Know when to walk away, know when to run" Ok I won't sing LOL

OH no! Do sing. We could get a whole sing-along going here. It would be fun. What other poker songs are there that we could sing? Aces, by Suzy Bogguss. I really like her music. Desperado, by The Eagles is always good too.

No, not a sing-along! LOL I didn't know that there were that many poker movies out there. I am going to have to check out some of these. I have seen Rounders, the Gambler, and Maverick.

No singing? But why? I was counting on it! What do you have against the singing? Doesn't poker karaoke sound good?
