Default How big is the chance?

last few miuntes after folding tons of hands and getting quite bored i got dealt KK's, i raise like normally, got re-raised, and i raise him all in, the opponent has pocket AA's and beats me.

a while later i get AA's on the big blind, and everyone folds to me.

then i get KK again soon after in late position, someone in mid position raises, i re-raise and get reraised by someone in late position, the early person calls all in and i decide to call too, the person in early position has KK's too, and guess what, the one in late position held AA, with 0 outs we just both lost to the pocket AA.

Default How about this

I was on the button with AA's, a guy in the earily position shoves all in making everyone else fold. So of course I call and when the cards are turned over I see he has J9 os. He ends up making a straight on the river to turn the pot. It seems like to me I always have bad luck when playing against horrible players making dumb moves like that. That happened a few days ago when playing at Cake. I follow the starting hands chart and feel that I have a solid game. They say it is easy to beat fish and make money but I either have bad luck or they get lucky and hit a hand to win. Maybe it is the lower stakes players at Cake or something. Or I'll have AQ suited and they will shove all in pre flop with A4 os and hit two pair to beat me.

That's nothing to cry about. As long as his pot odds weren't there you will win in the long-term. I know it can be frustrating though when you just want to reach the course goal so badly. The key long-term is that you aren't the one all in pre-flop with A4o.
