Hi Gman,

Part of the reason I run this site is that I love Poker, and although I don't claim to be some kind of superstar poker player, I have played for many years and am quite a successful player and I do enjoy passing some things that I have learnt over the years on to others.

How this site makes money is from the poker sites. What we did was once we did our research into which rooms were the best fit for our course / strategy we approached those rooms and negotiated to advertise their rooms on this site.

We also negotiated special offers from those rooms for the users of our site for various freebies, such as with Titan where we can offer you the free $25 bankroll, and all the amazing freerolls we can offer the users of this site are all based off that.

I would like to state one thing though - we only advertise the sites that we want to recommend based on our own use of those sites and the research we have done into those sites.

We are not like some sites on the internet that recomend a site because they are offering a pot of cash to do so, we do it completely the opposite way around and decide which are the reputable and profitable sites for our users that we want to promote and then we approach them to advertise and we are also constantly reassessing those sites to ensure they are still a good fit for the site and the strategies taught (and some of you will have noticed that we do change the recommended sites as situations change and research changes)

I hope that answers your question - your right we don't do it all for free, there are actually quite significant running costs to the site both in time and money as we do actually get thousands of visitors each week and are a very popular site.

But we hope everyone finds the site useful and we continue to add content to the site (and there are big plans for the future as well) and continue to bring added value to the users of the site, through both valuable content and also sensational deals / freerolls / extraordinary bonuses etc.

So all I can say is - if you like the site and it's content then support our advertisers, because by doing that will enable us to bring you better freebies from the poker sites and add more and more guides and content over the months to come.

Really agree with the Prof! I was searching for some poker learning resources so that I can reference them on my poker learning blog that I've started.
One thing that separates the wheat from the chaff is the quality of the articles and strategies provided here...and also the friendliness on the forums - it's amazing!
