Default learning tha game

I havent played in about a week. Well I played freerolls and play chips, for a few days. Today, looked like rain. I went out left my wallet home came back decided no outside today. Today is poker day. I sat down for my usual 300 hands.

Today i actually implemented the bettin pattern and structure in my game.
(I beleive thats section 3.4). I had been using it a little but i didnt have a complete understanding of it and it s power along with table pressence.

I monitored my flop percentage, kept it between 30-35%. My win % if flop seen is at 42 % after 317 hands. showdonws won 69%. However to the reason im threding.

Ive noticed if u play using this aggressive tight style. The hands that outdraw u really dont matter because, when u have a hand ur style and bettin strucutre auto matically adds value to the hand. Basically when u got it ur goin in. If u dont got it and ur drawing make sure u are gettin the odss to do so.

Thats real simple sounding isnt it. Along with the the ideas from sec 3.4 and a little thinkin. The chasers and callers dont bother me as much, they get punished. Over the long haul they will loose. So what my AJ got crunched that hand. Did i play it right??? (thats the question and answer to most of our problems. Not did he out draw me again????). LOL

Keep playin ur cards the same way win loose or draw (within discretion, and reasonable descision makin) u can and will out pace "lady luck".!!!!! I will not stop until I complete this challenge.

Thx Professor, I dont think i could ever repay for the amount of information contained in your website. Your the best I admire ur work. I will forever be a student to tha game. My bodog acct has now reached tripple digits. Almost 1 month in.

Hey Knolo,

You speak alot of sense in your post.

No matter how good a poker player you are, there is an element of chance in the game, which leads to people beating you in hands when mathematically they shouldn't.

That is also however the magic of the game and the exciting part that attracts bad players to actually play the game so in the long run it is in the best interests of good players.

Glad you are enjoying the Cash Game course and the strategy it teaches - stay tuned - there are lots of exciting things happening to Poker Professor over the next few months, including a huge redesign, new strategy courses and of course lots and lots of big value freerolls for our community.
