Personally with the all in on the turn, i would be starting to think i was behind, he could have been calling with pp T's or a Q on the flop which led to the higher 2 pair on the turn.

You got outdrawn with a lucky hand after weak play preflop (all calling, not you!) Next hand, and dont dwell on it. 75% of the time you will win these hands.

There is not alot I can see that you did wrong in that hand. It would of been very hard to put your opponent on pocket Queens, considering he didn't raise pre-flop.

You made a good bet after the flop to protect against the draws, you perhaps could of bet a bit more to cut down on the odds you were offering, but I can't say there is much wrong with the amount you bet, and the way that your opponents called you would have to think at least one of them is on a draw to the flush.

So with that in mind I can't really fault your bet on the turn either when that card wouldn't of helped a draw.

You just fell victim to someone who slowplayed his queens and got lucky! Queens is certainly not a hand I recommend slowplaying before the flop - he got lucky this time, but if he hadn't of hit his set on the flop, then he could of lost alot of money by slowplaying before the flop.

Red face I did the same thing

I was up on the preflop with A K ...

Flop came down 7 A K
2 pairs aces kings..
i slowplayed
hey called me..
on the turn i put a big bet in and he called it.
so i guessed he played poket a's
on the river i go all in
he called me
he has 3 of a kind 7's

That is actually really freaky - I actually had the same hand last night in a cash game over at sun poker.

I had AK and there was me + two other players in the pot.

The exact same flop came out A K 7 and I bet out which was then raised and then re-raised - at which point I started to get really scared at the quite real possibility that one of the opponents had hit a set of 7's.

Anyhow to cut a long story short - I couldn't really get away from the hand and all three of us ended up all in with a pot of about $480

Anyhow one of my opponents had the same hand as me A-K so we both had 2 pair, and just as I had feared the other opponent had pocket 7's and took down a big pot with his set

Things like this happen sometimes - even though I had a strong feeling I was beat in that hand I couldn't really get away from it and ended up losing a sizeable pot - thats why bankroll management is so important and that you can ride these blips and still have plenty of bankroll to work your way back up from a hit like this.

played fine i reckon..

could maybe have played a bit slower on the turn but the chance his high pair overtook you with a better two pair or three of a kind was very low (5 outs) or possible flush draw..

and was committed to call on the turn after the allin reraise

Like Professor said it's hard to put him on QQ when he didn't raise preflop , but this is when ur notes and reads should have come in to play . Gotta ask yourself has this guy ever slowplayed any hands and if so in what position . My opinion is he slowplayed his QQ cause he had position and there were only two callers once it got around to him. He didn't want to raise and scare one of u out (u'd probaly folded if he raised cuz u didn't have odds to call with suited connectors and bad position). but he slowplayed and was hoping someone hit flop , that someone was you and u hit it BIG but u have to watch out for the flush draw from flop (being he called ur bet on flop). on the turn u also have to watch out for str8 draw now. also another tip was him calling ur flop bet then on the turn the "sudden reversal" which means he's had slowplayed and has u trapped so u gotta figure ur beat. He could have QQ for 1 or 10 10 , 5 5 ,6 6 nut flush draw(unlikely being he reraised all in on turn and its only a 18% chance of hitting) or if he "loves" AA
